Speaker Info

Courtney Austin works as Manager of Accounts Payable Controls at BNSF Railway, responsible for the team that monitors over $3.5B in vendor and credit card spend annually for non-compliance, over-payments, and potential fraud. Prior to that role, Courtney worked in BNSF's Compliance Anti-Fraud and Internal Audit functions. Courtney is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) with over 10 years experience in corporate fraud investigations, fraud monitoring, risk assessments, new system consulting, internal control auditing, control environment testing, process improvements, data analysis, and data visualization. Courtney has also volunteered in several chapter officer capacities for the Fort Worth Chapter ACFE, including Treasurer, Vice President, and President. Courtney graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor's in Business Administration - Accounting.
